This three-day course will provide students with an understanding of basic peer support skills, information about starting and maintaining peer support programs and other relevant and current information regarding stress, coping and treatment.

Course Information:

When: November 14-16, 2016 (Monday – Wednesday ), 0900-1800 hours
Where: Fremont Fire Department 3300 Capitol Ave. Bldg A Fremont, Ca. 94537
Cost: Tuition is $375 and is reimbursable by POST
Who: The course will be taught by experts in the area of peer support.

  • Ellen Kirschman — PhD Author of / Love a Cop and I love a Fire Fighter
